Since UNICEF was established in 1946, advocacy has been at the heart of our work to end poverty and discrimination to build a world where the rights of every child are realised.
In all of our advocacy work, UNICEF is guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) to ensure that all our work makes a lasting and positive change in children and women’s lives.
Speak Out!
Speak out for UNICEF and get your advocacy efforts off the ground by communicating with your local MP, using the media and harnessing the power of social media. View our current campaigns and issues for information on where we need your help.
Get Active!
As a student, you can get involved in supporting the work of UNICEF by joining our Youth Advocate Program or celebrating UNICEF Day for Change at your school.

We're also looking for young people with an extra spark and passion for speaking out, aged between 15 and 24 years to be UNICEF Australia's Young Ambassadors for 2011-2012.
