Change for Good: 21 years of transforming lives

Since 1991, Qantas has helped UNICEF give communities hope in times of crises and deliver long term programs to help children survive and thrive into adulthood.

By placing foreign and local change in the envelopes provided on any of the 5000 Qantas flights, Qantas passengers have raised over $24 million for vulnerable children and their communities since the program’s inception.

"I am so proud of all that Change for Good has achieved in its 21 years. It shows the impact of a united belief – and that even the smallest contribution can help make a world of difference to children in need,” said UNICEF Chief Executive Norman Gillespie.

These achievements would not be made possible without the ongoing support, dedication and belief of Qantas staff. Qantas’ staff network - from cabin crew, catering, airport staff and engineers - all work to ensure the programs ongoing success.

UNICEF would like to thank everyone who has supported Change for Good over the past 21 years.
