Workplace Giving

If just 10% of working Australians donated $5 per week through their pay an additional $260 million would reach children.

What is Workplace Giving?

Workplace Giving is a simple and effective way for employees to donate to charities through their pay.

What are the benefits of Workplace Giving?

Employers and employees will assist UNICEF to promote and protect the rights of vulnerable children around the world.

Employers: Workplace Giving can provide a low cost, administratively simple way to build employee morale and loyalty, while showing your community your giving back. This in turn sends positive signals to investors, shareholders, employees and customers alike.Workplace Giving

Employees: Workplace Giving enables affordable, tax-effective giving through a transparent and trustworthy program.
Workplace Giving provides long term, stable funding for core programs enabling us to plan ahead and develop even more effective programs.

Follow these steps to set up a Workplace Giving program

Step 1
Communicate with your workplace the benefits of the program to employers, employees and children in need around the world

Step 2
Once an employee has agreed to participate in the program you can deduct a specified amount each payday from their salary via your payroll system.

Step 3
Deposit the monies donated by your employees directly into Australian Committee for UNICEF Limited's Administration bank account:

ANZ - BSB: 012-010, A/C no: 837541992 – via your most convenient method (internet, cheque, etc).

Send UNICEF Australia a remittance advice at the time of each payment, either via post to UNICEF Australia, Accounts Department, PO Box 488, Queen Victoria Building, Sydney, NSW, 1230, fax to (02) 9261 2844 or email to accounts@unicef.org.au.

Please include the following information - the amount paid, the date of deposit and full company details including name, address and ABN number.

UNICEF is not funded by the UN. We rely on voluntary donations for our work with children in more than 150 developing countries and territories. With your help we can make the world a better place for all children – and create a brighter future for us all.
