The end of the financial year is rapidly approaching and businesses are leaving their annual tax planning to the last minute. Donating to UNICEF can lower a businesses tax bill* – and bring hope to disadvantaged children and their communities throughout the world.
Dr Norman Gillespie, UNICEF Chief Executive, urged businesses to consider a UNICEF donation this financial year; “Donations can give eligible businesses a chance to reduce their taxable income and gain valuable recognition for their support of UNICEF’s efforts to help the world’s most vulnerable children”
The
UNICEF Champion for Children is a business donation program designed for businesses to show
their community they are a caring and ethical corporate citizen.
“The gap between the worlds richest and poorest continues to grow. Increasingly, businesses are being encouraged by their communities to give back – and bridge this alarming divide” said Dr Norman Gillespie.
Every donation over two dollars is tax deductible and helps UNICEF work to ensure the survival, health, education and protection of vulnerable children.
