    In The Australian today, there is an article which outlines a new radical proposal by the Gillard government to force teenage mothers to “go to school and get job-ready when their child turns one”. It seems like there are pros and cons to this proposal, with some arguing that letting teenagers live on welfare and then expecting them suddenly get a job when they turn 20, is unrealistic if they have been out of education and training for several years.
