Syrian refugee children speak out

The situation for children in Syria continues to worsen. Colleagues for UNICEF in Lebanon recently sent through this video where Syrian children discuss escaping violence in the Syrian Arab Republic and their current situation in Lebanon as refugees.

Says one girl “I remember everything. Everything was way better. More beautiful. Everything was nicer.  But then the war was happening in front of us. It wasn’t good anymore.”

Sometimes it takes the voice of a child to really tell it like it is.  In a way…they are the best reporters when it comes to political and social events because when it comes right down to it…all they really care about is being a child.
