Talking with children about natural disasters can be confronting, particularly when people or places they know have been deeply affected. UNICEF Australia has developed a Natural Disaster Education Kit, drawn from our experience and the experience of child psychologists, to help parents and educators discuss the impact of recent natural disasters with children in Australia.
