Pakistan Flood Children's Appeal

Over 5.4 million people, including 2.7 million children have been affected by monsoon floods in Pakistan, and are in need of immediate help.

UNICEF is helping children and families, and scaling up our response to meet the urgent needs in the worst-affected districts.

Our first priority is to provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene, and reduce overcrowding. More help must reach those affected fast before the situation worsens. Many of the families and children are still recovering from the worst floods in the country’s history just a year ago.

UNICEF needs your help to reach those affected before the situation worsens.

In Pakistan, UNICEF is:
  • Providing more than five litres of clean water daily to over 110,000 people.
  • Providing water bladders, water chlorination, and items for families such as buckets, soap, water purification tablets and tarpaulins.
  • Supporting mobile immunisation teams that are vaccinating children against measles and polio, and administering vitamin A supplementation.
  • Working to provide education facilities to 45,000 children in seven districts.

Please help us reach more vulnerable children and their families. UNICEF needs your help to provide immediate assistance with clean water, vaccinations, and basic sanitation.
