UNICEF Check Out for Children, run by Starwood Hotels and Resorts around the world raises funds to support UNICEF’s immunisation projects.
Every hour more than 300 children die because they lack access to lifesaving vaccines. UNICEF supply vaccines to 40% of children in the developing world, yet each year more than 30 million children still miss out on immunisation. For just US$30 a child can be immunised against the main childhood diseases: diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, polio, measles, childhood tuberculosis and hepatitis B.
A donation of US$1 - or local currency equivalent – for UNICEF’s immunisation programs is added to each guest’s bill upon departure to support this vital work. For more information visit www.starwood.com

Education is vital to ensuring a better quality of life for all children.
The ING Foundation supports a UNICEF project to enhance girls' education for equity and empowerment in the state of Rajasthan, India. This support is part of the global ING commitment to ensuring children around the world have access to quality education – known as the 'ING Chances for Children’ program.
Through 'ING Chances for Children', ING aims to send over 120,000 children from some of the world poorest nations to school. This 120,000 figure is significant because achieving it will mean that for every ING employee worldwide, a child who otherwise might never have attended primary school will have access to quality education.
