UNICEF ULO Program
Join students across Australia helping to spread the word about UNICEF's work.
The UNICEF University Liaison Officer (ULO) program, an initiative of UNICEF Australia, creates an opportunity for students in tertiary education to gain experience in volunteering for a non-profit organisation while learning more about UNICEF, child rights and development issues in general.
The UNICEF ULO role involves raising awareness on campus of children's rights and UNICEF's priority areas.
Previous UNICEF ULOs have held trivia nights, BBQs, hunger banquets and film screenings to bring attention to these important issues. ULOs are also encouraged to hold information sessions on domestic and international development issues, and the purpose of the Millennium Development Goals.
If you would like to become a UNICEF ULO for UNICEF Australia, please email your CV and cover letter to education@unicef.org.au. In your cover letter, please state why you would like to participate in initiatives and the UNICEF ULO program, what skills you can bring to the role, and what type of events you would implement if you were appointed.
