Khuki, a fifty-year-old widow, unpacks her emergency relief pack provided by UNICEF after monsoon floods washed away all her belongings. Khuki was left without a home and a job when days of heavy rain flooded her home in the Bogra district, Bangladesh.

The diaster relief that UNICEF provided meant that Khuki was able to replace some of her belongings that were washed away in the floods. Khuki's emergency relief pack included essential tools to help her cope with the effects of the flood including cooking utensils, clothes, soap, water buckets, candles and rope. The kit also included a multi-purpose plastic sheet which Khuki could use as a tent or mattress to give her shelter and protection.

This Inspired Gift will help people just like Khuki to cope in times of emergency by providing them with the essential items they need.
