Children don’t start wars. They aren’t responsible for adults’ violence but they are caught in the middle and suffering the most brutal impacts. We cannot turn away. UNICEF teams are crossing battle lines every day to reach children with emergency health care, water and nutrition. And this Christmas, we need your help. Please donate to deliver life-saving supplies to children in danger.

All children deserve to be safe from violence and free to enjoy a decent childhood. But today, devastating conflicts are denying millions of children a fair chance in life.

In Myanmar, they’re watching their homes and villages burn to the ground. In Syria, children are being deliberately attacked as targets of war and cut off from humanitarian supplies of food, water and medicine. And in Nigeria, they’re losing their schools, their families and their lives.

No matter where they live or what they look like, children are children first. They all have the same rights to survive, learn and grow up healthy.

It’s why UNICEF humanitarians are working right now in the rubble and mud of conflict zones around the world. We need your help now more than ever. Please stand with us.

Your emergency donation can give children:

  • Access to mobile health clinics for life-saving treatment of injuries and malnutrition.
  • Safe water, sanitation and hygiene supplies to stop the spread of disease.
  • School books and temporary classrooms to continue learning and prepare for the future they deserve.
“I get the most scared when I am alone and I remember being injured.”
Parents, local humanitarians and children themselves are working incredibly hard in nightmare conditions to survive the violence and deprivation of war. They’re strong and determined but they can’t get through this alone. UNICEF is right there with them, supporting communities with emergency supplies, support and protection.

Please help with a generous donation this Christmas.

Children are facing impossible challenges:

  • In Myanmar, extreme violence has driven more than 600,000 Rohingya refugees to flee to over-crowded camps in Bangladesh.
  • In Nigeria, conflict has damaged schools and disrupted education for 76% of students.
  • In Yemen, fighting has destroyed water and sanitation systems, sparking the worst outbreak of cholera in the world today. More than 900,000 people have been infected.
UNICEF continues to advocate for immediate ends to these conflicts but, until that day comes, we must give children the emergency aid they need to survive.

Please stand with us. Donate now to help UNICEF continue its life-saving work for children in crisis.

Your kind Christmas gift will fund UNICEF’s work wherever the need is greatest in more than 190 countries around the world.

We’re reaching children, fast.
