There's a special kind of magic in the good we create together. 

Every child deserves the magic of play, no matter who they are or where they live, but right now, too many children are missing out on this basic right because of conflicts, natural disasters, disease, or inequality. Over 450 million – nearly 1 in 5 children – live in or have fled a conflict zone, and devastatingly, almost 8 million children are at risk of dying from severe malnutrition without immediate treatment. That’s one child every 60 seconds.  

UNICEF believes in a world where every child can play, grow, laugh, and learn. With your help, we can be there until every child can access clean water and nutrition, attend school, feel safe, and be a child. Until every child can play.

How will my donation help children in need to have a brighter future? 

  • $6 could provide clean water for families, 1,000 water purification tablets to create up to 5,000 litres of safe drinking water.
  • $26 could help provide 50 sachets of Plumpy’Nut®, a lifesaving peanut paste that helps children recover from severe malnutrition.
  • $56 could help provide up to 260 doses of polio vaccine, protecting children from the deadly disease.

    How do we use each dollar donated?

  • 78¢
    on average, 78 cents to every dollar spent for the past three years went directly to helping children in need, including long-term programs, emergency response and community education.
  • 15¢
    on average, 15 cents to every dollar spent for the past three years went to essential fundraising costs that helped us generate more impact for children.
  • 7¢
    on average, 7 cents to every dollar spent for the past three years went towards our admin costs, such as keeping your personal data safe.
