We are also committed to the ACFID Fundraising Charter which requires that we are ethical and accountable in how we use fundraising information and communicate to our stakeholders.

Accreditation

UNICEF Australia holds full accreditation under the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP)

UNICEF Australia is accredited with the Australian Government. Accreditation is a robust assessment of an organisation’s practice, in governance, program and partner management, community engagement and financial accountability.

Gaining accreditation recognises that UNICEF Australia has the capacity and accountability to manage Australian Government funding, and in 2022 UNICEF Australia will undertake the re-accreditation process which occurs every five years. Accreditation provides eligibility for government funding, including the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP). In 2021, UNICEF Australia was grateful to receive $2.3 million in ANCP funding.
