Ronan Keating, an internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter, and Storm Keating, an Australian television producer, became Ambassadors for UNICEF Australia in 2025.

With strong ties to both Australia and Papua New Guinea (PNG), they wanted to use their platform to help raise awareness, support critical programs, and encourage others to take action for children in PNG and around the world.

In 2026, Ronan and Storm travelled to PNG with UNICEF Australia to meet families, teachers, health workers and community leaders. During the visit, they saw first-hand how UNICEF programs are helping expand access to healthcare, early learning, clean water and protection services for children and families across the country.

"The progress UNICEF and its partners have made in such a short space of time across healthcare, WASH and education in PNG is incredible. I feel very grateful to have been able to visit, we were welcomed with such warmth."
