UNICEF Australia and Human Appeal Australia partner to deliver lifesaving support for children
UNICEF Australia has welcomed a new partnership with Human Appeal Australia to support lifesaving programs for children and families affected by humanitarian crises in Haiti and Sudan, and to help improve access to education for adolescent girls in Zimbabwe.
The partnership was formally marked on 7 April 2026 at UNICEF Australia’s office, where senior leaders from both organisations came together to recognise the start of this collaboration. The agreement was signed by UNICEF Australia CEO Tony Stuart and Human Appeal Australia Director Bashar Al‑Jamal.

Through this partnership, the two organisations will work to protect children’s rights, support families, and build more resilient communities facing complex challenges. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to humanitarian principles, accountability and transparency, and to working together to create meaningful, measurable change for children and their communities.
As this partnership moves forward, UNICEF Australia and Human Appeal Australia will continue working closely to ensure vital support reaches children who need it most – wherever they are, and whatever the challenges they face.
