UNICEF Australia Internship
Want to gain experience with one of the world's leading international organisations?

What is it?

UNICEF Australia offers a competitive internship program, giving interns a chance to work alongside some of Australia's best not-for-profit professionals, grow their skills and gain extensive experience with one of the world's leading international organisations.

Internships are available in the following departments:

  • Advocacy (Reopening Intake 1, 2015)
  • Digital Media (Reopening Intake 4, 2014)
  • Communications (Reopening Intake 3, 2014)
If you want to hear about the experiences of some of our previous interns, you can read about their time at UNICEF Australia here.

Who can apply?

UNICEF Australia's internship program is open to all qualified university or TAFE students and graduates.

What's involved?

Successful applicants will intern in our Advocacy, Digital Media or Communications & Social Media Departments for three months. The internships will be unpaid and require a minimum of two days per week in UNICEF Australia's office in Sydney, NSW.

Each internship role will vary depending on the skills of the intern and current projects being undertaken by UNICEF Australia. Applicants should be flexible and be prepared to work in areas in which they have had no previous experience or expertise.

When are the internships?

UNICEF Australia offer four intakes every year for each internship.
