UNICEF is the United Nations Children's Fund. It works in 190 countries and territories with a focus on improving the lives of the most disadvantaged and excluded children.

Established in 1966, the Australian National Committee for UNICEF works for the survival, protection and development of children worldwide through fundraising, advocacy, education and international development programs. We work with government and advocate bodies to defend children's rights and support international development programs.

UNICEF is funded entirely by the voluntary contributions of individuals, businesses , foundations and governments.
