Chief Executive Officer, Tony Stuart
Tony Stuart is the CEO of UNICEF Australia since 2016 and has been a member of the UNICEF Global Standing Group since 2020. Tony also served as the Chair of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Advisory Board between May 2016 and May 2023 and recently chaired the NFP Advisory Board to the National Covid Commission.
Tony’s career in the private sector included CEO of the NRMA Group, CEO of Sydney Airports Corporation and executive management roles at British Airways, Citibank and Shell Petroleum International. Tony’s background in the NFP sector includes being a Director of the Committee for Sydney, the Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals and the Heart Research Institute of Australia, Australian Institute of Management and the Starlight Foundation.
Throughout his career Tony has been passionate about organisations having a strong sense of alignment between purpose and profit. Tony is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Canterbury.
