Every day, Qantas passengers help UNICEF to protect and support the world's most vulnerable children. It's called Change for Good® and it works like this:
Prefer to give online? Donate now to make an immediate and lasting impact for children
- Qantas passengers leave their spare change in Change for Good® envelopes inflight or in collection boxes throughout domestic terminals. All currencies are welcome, from Australian to Zimbabwean dollars.
- UNICEF uses the funds to deliver life-saving health care, clean water and education to children wherever the need is greatest in more than 190 countries.
Alternatively use your Qantas Points on UNICEF at the Qantas Store and this Christmas Qantas will match all points up to 10 million points*.
*If you redeem your points for a charity, and the required points are deducted from your account, Qantas will pay the specified dollar amount to the specified charity within 45 days of the date of your redemption. Please note, members are not entitled to a tax deduction for redeeming points for charity (pursuant to taxation laws).
To celebrate World Children’s Day on November 20, Qantas engaged students at a local primary School, Sylvania Heights to take over the various roles of the Change for Good program. Watch the video here:
Over the last 27 years, Qantas has supported UNICEF through the Change for Good program, and raised more than $34 million through passengers donating their small change on-board Qantas flights
When you donate to Change for Good®, you help UNICEF respond to emergencies quickly and effectively, delivering the clean water, protection and nutrition children need to survive. You're also investing in long-term development programs to support the world’s most vulnerable children and their communities, meaning the difference between a life of poverty and one of opportunity.
Your small change can make a huge difference. Please donate today.
