Jackie Chan MBE—stuntman, actor, and director—was appointed a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2004. Since then, he has been a passionate advocate for vulnerable children, offering hope to those facing economic hardship, discrimination related to HIV/AIDS, and the devastating impact of landmine injuries.

In 2008, Jackie visited Timor-Leste with UNICEF to promote the use of martial arts for peace.

In 2012, Jackie visited Myanmar to help combat child trafficking. He visited a vocational training centre for trafficked children who have managed to return to their home, but in need to special help and support.
