Through the Intrepid Foundation, the company has now raised more than $150,000 for UNICEF Australia to support universal access to COVID-19 vaccines. Meanwhile, its teams around the world are working to provide easier access to COVID-19 vaccines in remote communities and educating staff to help resolve vaccine hesitancy.

Intrepid is also a member of the COVID Vaccination Alliance of UNICEF Australia.

Qantas: long term commitment to children

What does one do with all that spare change in a different currency after a well-spent holiday or a business trip abroad? Why not donate it to a good cause! This was the thinking that launched Change for Good.

In 1991, Qantas joined forces with UNICEF to take part in the Change for Good® (CFG) program, an innovative partnership between UNICEF and the international airline industry. For over 30 years, we’ve partnered to convert coins, notes, Frequent Flyer points and direct donations into life-saving materials and services for the world’s most vulnerable children. CFG is one of UNICEF's best-known and longest-running programs.

Qantas customers have raised over AUD 37 million with the program raising over USD 184 million worldwide.

Cotton On and UNICEF are #InItTogether

In 2021, Cotton On joined forces with UNICEF to help to deliver the largest vaccination operation in history, supporting the delivery of COVID-19 vaccines to protect health-care workers, teachers and vulnerable people around the world.

The Cotton On Group was the first global retailer dedicating an in-store and online campaign to support UNICEF to fund the equitable delivery and administration of 1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

During May and June 2021, 100 per cent of the gross profits of selected Cotton On Foundation products sold in Cotton On Group stores worldwide and online were donated to UNICEF’s COVID-19 response. Consumers were also invited to donate directly to UNICEF’s COVID-19 vaccine response in store and through the Foundation’s website.

Cotton On Foundation supports UNICEF

The Cotton On partnership raised over USD 2 million to support UNICEF’s global COVID-19 vaccine response, facilitating country readiness and in-country delivery to ensure vaccinations, tests and treatments reach those in need in low-income and medium-income countries.

Throughout the campaign, Cotton On extended their support to help fund an Oxygen Plant for Masaka Hospital in Uganda that is support thousands of patients with life-saving oxygen.
